As Christians, we have been made right with God and brought near to Him, planted forever in a New Covenant. This covenant is distinct from the old, mediated not by mortal priests of the tribe of Levi but by the indestructible life of Jesus who has become our Great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek forever.
