DAY FOUR

MORNING VERSE:

“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)

EVENING VERSE:

“…and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” (Colossians 1:20)

MEDITATION

You have died. Let it sink in. Every fiber of your old man has died. The part of you that resists God...dead. The part of you that lusts after the flesh...dead. The part of you that is selfish...dead. You have died. This truth is to be received by faith and the experience of it will come thereafter. The righteous shall live by faith. Think about the areas of your life that you are frustrated with, that you know do not please God. Think about the generational sins and habits that you received from your forefathers. Now picture all of it, joined to the lifeless body of Jesus Christ in the grave. You have died. Your life is now in Christ. To live is Christ, to die is gain.
